Bob's Lamb Roast

Ingredients:
1 x 2kg lamb legs (roast)
1/2 packet rosemary
6 x cloves garlic; 3 peeled, 3 unpeeled
olive oil
Gravy powder

Method:
  1. Preheat oven to 250°C
  2. Place unpeeled garlic and rosemary on the bottom of the roasting pan
  3. Make incisions into one side of the lamb
  4. Rub oil into the lamb with salt and pepper
  5. Place rest of rosemary and peeled garlic into incisions on lamb
  6. Wrap roasting pan tightly in alfoil
  7. Reduce oven to 170 degrees celsius
  8. Place lamb in oven for 4hr 15min
  9. 45 minutes before the lamb is ready, remove the alfoil. Spoon the liquid in the roasting pan over the lamb regularly to keep moist. Place back in oven.
  10. 20 minutes before lamb is ready, remove liquid from pan and place in saucepan to make gravy. Place lamb back in oven.
  11. Place saucepan over medium heat and add 2 cups of warm water.
  12. Add 7 tsp of gravy powder and stir frequently until boiling. Set aside.
  13. Serve
