Apple and Cinnamon Triangles

Ingredients:
3 Pink lady apples, diced
Puff pastry
Icing sugar

Method:
Put apples in small saucepan and cover up to half with water.
Put on low heat and simmer until water has evaporated.
While apples are cooking, put in a teaspoon of sugar.
When water has evaporated, take off the heat and sprinkle cinnamon and mix in to taste. Put aside.
Defrost 3 slices of bought puff pastry.
Divide each slice into quarters.
Turn on jaffle maker.
Place a quarter on each side as you would a piece of bread.
Put stewed apples onto each side of the quarter and place a pastry quarter on top ensuring sides will be sealed when closed.
Close jaffle maker and remove when golden. This will be approximately ten minutes. If needed, brush pastry top with butter while cooking.
Dust with icing sugar and serve.
Optional: serve with whipped cream and serve warm as apple turnover.
